Design delivery specifications
To produce high-quality prints, it is important to deliver correct files.
We achieve the best quality by using vector files. Vector files are easy to adjust by us in color/size and can be enlarged without loss of quality, pixel files do not have this option.
The designer of the logo usually has the vector files of your logo. (NOTE: always ask to convert the fonts to letter curves (English “outlines”) as in the picture next to it. You may already have the files on your computer; the files end in .EPS / .AI / .SVG and sometimes also PDF.
Designs with photos incorporated can also be supplied as PNG files, make sure there is no background in the file. No white either! As a resolution you need at least 150 DPI at the actual size of the print.
We can always help you with the design, but if you really want to do it yourself, keep the above tips in mind.
We also see that many small assignments are designed yourself in the free design website Canva. If you have done this, it is usually sufficient to share the design with us afterwards. See the picture next to it.
Colours and Colour Codes
For accurate colour reproduction, we recommend adding PMS colour codes. Mixing costs are charged for special PMS mixing colours. Please note: exact colours are only possible with ink printing; with flock printing, only an approximation of colours is possible, except for standard colours.
Fonts and Fonts
If you use specific fonts, we request that you supply or email them.
By following these specifications, we ensure high-quality printing together and minimise any errors in the process.
CAN’T DO IT?
No problem! We are happy to help you create a design!
The above are only guidelines to avoid additional costs. If you only have a grainy image, we can also have the logos redrawn in vector.
The costs depend on the complexity of the logos, but are on average between 5 and 25 euros; If you want to receive the logos for your own use afterwards, this will cost an additional 22 euros.
We can always help you with the design, but if you really want to do it yourself, keep the above tips in mind.
